Former Ireton Resident Dies At Madison, S. D.
Mrs. George Dierks, 68, of Madison, S. D,, a former Ireton resident, died early Saturday morning in a Madison hospital after a brief illness.

A daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McGrory, pioneers of Ireton, she -was born and spent her youth there. About 37 years-ago she married George Dierks and went to Madison. For many years they farmed but about six years ago they purchased a resort on Lake Herman, which they operated.

Besides the widower, she is survived by nine children, Mrs. Leona Berge and Francis of Sioux Falls, Mrs. Edna Stockwell of Hartford, S. D., Harlan, of Miller, S. D, Lawrence and Lyle at home and Carl and Clifford and three brothers, Joe McGrory of Le Mars; John of Sioux City and William, who lives in Utah. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning in the Catholic church in Madison and burial was in the Catholic cemetery there. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dierks of Ireton attended the funeral
