RITES HERE MONDAY FOR NICK STEICHEN

Nicholas Steichen of Remsen, former resident of the Alton community, died at his home and was brought to Alton for burial Monday.

Graveside rites were held at St. Mary's Cemetery here following funeral services in St. Mary's Church at Remsen.

Note: Nichoas is the son of John and Margaret (Trinckes) Steichen. He married Anna "Katie" (Krantz) in 1897 and she passed on 1912. In 1913 Nicholas married Mary Henrecy.
