From the Sioux County Index-Reporter, June 11, 1986:

Beryl B. Dittmer, age 82, of Nokomis, Fla., died Saturday, May 17 at her residence. A native of Great Falls, Mont., she moved to Nokomis, Fla. in 1975 from Thornton, Ia. She has wintered in Florida since 1967.

Attended University of Iowa at Iowa City. Awarded a special membership in Woman’s Society of Christian Service in 1971 by the Women’s Division of the Board of Missions of the United Methodist Church. Past Matron of the O.E.S. and a member of the Sheffield Chapter No. 87 at Sheffield; she received a certificate for 50 of membership in 1973, from Iowa Grand Chapter, and served as a district instructor of the Iowa Grand Chapter.

Married to Dr. Arthur L. Dittmer in 1925, also a former resident of Jefferson where Dr. Dittmer also practiced. Survived by husband, Dr. Arthur Dittmer; a son, Dr. A. Gordon Dittmer of Hull, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, June 29. International Mortuary Services are in charge of arrangements.
