Jeane Doorenbos
SIBLEY—Funeral services for Jeane Doorenbos, 54, were held Tuesday, Nov. 1, 1983 at 1 p.m. in the First Reformed Church, Sibley. The Rev. Andrew Meyer officiated, with burial in the Boyden Cemetery. The Andringa Funeral Home, Sibley, was in charge of the arrangements.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Klaas Boerhave, she was born Jan. 26, 1929 at Sanborn. She lived her youth and attended school at Ashton. She married Glenn Doorenbos of Boyden on Jan. 24, 1957 at Sheldon. They farmed in the George area before moving to rural Sibley in 1971.

Mrs. Doorenbos is survived by her husband Glenn; two sons, Merlin and Paul, Sibley; her mother, Mrs. Marie Klaas [i.e., Boerhave?], Sheldon; three brothers, Evert and Kenneth, Ashton, and Glen, Pueblo, CO; and one sister, Winora Pieper, Sheldon.
