Funeral services were held April 3, at Hospers for Mrs. Ted Schwebach, 79, of Hospers, who died March 31, 1970.

Services were conducted by the Reverend A.J. Huewe at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and burial was made in the church cemetery under the direction of Vander Ploeg’s Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Mrs. Schwebach, the former Anne Niichel, was born April 3, 1890, at Emby, Indiana. She was married September 29, 1908, to Theodore Schwebach at Granville. Her husband preceded her in death August 22, 1953.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Marie Lundquist of Paullina and Mrs. Joe (Viola) Wersinger of Starbuck, Minnesota, and four sons, Ted of Alton, Ambrose of Sheldon, Leonard of Long Island, New York and Clemens of Long Beach, California; 48 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
