Funeral services were held Monday at 10:30 A.M. in St. Josephs Catholic Church in Granville for John Schwarz, 76, who died early Friday morning in the Orange City Hospital of a short illness. Father Edward Hoffman officiated with burial in the parish cemetery.
Mr. Schwarz was born January 29, 1902, the son of John Sr. and Elizabeth (Hebbelman) Schwarz, at Granville and was a life long area farmer.
Survivors include two brothers: Joseph and Tony, both of Granville, one sister, Mrs. William (Mary) Ahlers of Granville, one nephew and four nieces.
