Peter Schwarz, 65, lifelong Granville farmer, died unexpectedly Tuesday (April 11, 1978) at the Orange City Municipal Hospital after a brief ill-ness.

He was born April 22, 1912, at Granville to Peter and Theresa Ahlers Schwarz.

Mr. Schwarz was never married. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's church, Granville. Reverend Gary Snyder will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery under the direction of the Fisch Funeral Home at Remsen.

Rosaries will be recited at 5, 7:30 and 8:30 Friday at Spalding hall, Granville.

Survivors are two brothers, George of Pasarobels, California, and Charles of Belgrad, Minnesota; four sisters, Agatha Schwarz, Granville; Mrs. William (Clara) Roder, Remsen; Mrs. Richard (Agnes) Misener, Daly City, California, and Mrs. Richard (Theresa) Ormond, Harvard, Nebraska, and a number of nieces and nephews.
