Agatha C. Schwarz, 82, of Granville, died Friday, February 8, 1991 at the Le Mars hospital after a brief illness.

Services were held Tuesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Granville. The Reverend Robert W. Gralapp officiated. Burial was in the parish cemetery under direction of the Fisch Funeral Home of Remsen.

Miss Schwarz was born October 12, 1908 in rural Granville, daughter of Peter and Theresa (Ahlers) Schwarz. She was raised and attended school in the Granville area, and lived there all her life.

She farmed with her brother, Peter near Granville and became sole operator after his death in 1978. She was then assisted by her nephew, Dennis Ormond.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Church Guild.

Survivors, include, two brothers, George of Pasa Rotiles, California, and Charles of Belgrade, Minnesota; three sisters, Mrs. William (Clara) Roder of Remsen, Mrs. Richard (Theresa) Ormond of Harvard, Nebraska, and Agatha's twin, Mrs. Richard (Agnes) Misener of Daly City, California; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Herman, William, Joseph and Peter; and two sisters, Mrs. John (Kathryn) Schnoes and Mrs. Lawrence (Anna) Penning.
