Funeral services for Mrs. Johan “John” Schuver Sr., who died Wednesday night, January 24 will be held Saturday morning at nine o’clock in St. Joseph’s Church at Granville.

Magdalena Schuver passed away following a stroke of paralysis Wednesday night at about 9:30. She is survived by Mr. Schuver and five sons: John of Sioux Falls, Dick, Joe, Peter and Anthony. Mrs. Schuver was born 73 years ago in Lorraine, France. Her maiden name was Magdalena Mueller. In 1884 she was married to John Schuver. Nine children were born to them, three having died in infancy and the oldest daughter in August 1910.

The family came to this country in July 1908 and recently Mr. and Mrs. Schuver spent a year in the old country, returning last October.
