Funeral services for Rita Schumacher, 2 1/2-month-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Schumacher of rural Alcester, were held Wednesday morning at the Barnard Funeral Home in Hawarden, Father Leander Friedman officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Rita died at St. Joseph's Hospital in Sioux City Monday night. She had been ill off and on since her birth.
Survivors besides the parents include three brothers, Larry, Tony and Allan; a sister, Charlene; the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Anna Schumacher of Alcester, and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Anderson of Hawarden.
