The 2-months-old son, Leo J., of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory and Elizabeth (Starzl) Schumacher of the Alcester vicinity died last Friday morning after a brief illness from pneumonia. The child had been ill but two days and Mr. and Mrs. Schumacher decided to take him to the hospital in Akron for care. They were on the way to Akron in their car when the child expired in his mother's arms.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in this city Saturday morning with Reverend Father J.M. Neppel in charge, and interment was made in the Catholic Cemetery here.

Mr. and Mrs. Schumacher and family formerly lived five miles south of Hawarden but moved to the Alcester vicinity a year or so ago. They have the sincere sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.
