Mrs. Kryn Schuller, nee Mary Leenhouts, passed on at the Orange City Hospital early Tuesday morning at the age of 81 years and ten days. She was a beloved resident of Alton and vicinity since young girlhood.

Funeral services will be held Friday at the First Reformed Church, in the church basement at 1:30 and in the church auditorium at 2:00 o'clock, Reverend Sandee officiating.

Mary Susan Leenhouts was born to Abraham and Johanna Cambier Leenhouts November 9, 1876, at Marion, New York. At an early age she came with her parents and brother Peter to the Alton vicinity.

She was married February 28, 1897 to Kryn Schuller and the couple farmed for many years south of Alton, alter moving to town. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 1948. Mr. Schuller died January 22, 1956. She was also preceded in death by her only brother, Peter Jacob Leenhouts, in May, 1946.

No children were born to this union, but Mrs. Schuller faithfully helped in rearing the child of her niece who died leaving four small children motherless, namely Dena, Mrs. David Palsma of Alton; Bertha, Mrs. Norman Eason of Orange City; Anthony Aberson of Pipestone, Minnesota and Peter Aberson of Alton.

She was a loyal member of the First Reformed Church and Ladies Aid and for many years a Sunday School teacher, also a life member of the Women's Missionary Society of the R.C.A. and was loved and admired by a host of friends and relatives.
