MRS. REINDERS DIES SUDDENLY--Was mother of six children

The community was shocked Monday morning upon hearing of the sudden demise of Mrs. Gerard Reinders. She had been ailing for about 2 months but it seemed as though her health was improving somewhat. Death was caused iron heart disease.

Deceased's maiden name was Miss Maggie Sturrop, born in Pella on December 21, 1879, having attained the age of 58 years. As a child of three years her parents moved to Nebraska where they resided for nine years. Then they moved to Sioux County where Mrs. Reinders has lived ever since.

On March 25th. she was united in marriage to Mr. Gerard Reinders. To this union six children were born, namely Mrs. William Mulder, Mrs. John Boone, Henry, Grace, Paulline and Gilbert.

Besides the sorrowing husband and children, Mrs. Reinders is survived by 3 grandchildren and five sisters and six brothers. Mrs. Reinders was a very active member of the Carnes Christian Reformed Church and took an active part in the Ladies Aid and Sunday school affairs. Her happy disposition and genial nature made her many friends who sympathize with the husband and children in their sudden bereavement.

Burial took place on Wednesday at one P.M. from the home northwest of Carnes and at 2 P.M., from the First Christian Reformed Church at Orange City with Reverend Meyer and Reverend Hylkema officiating. Interment was made in the Orange City Cemetery.
