Fred Recker passed on Tuesday noon, December 4, at the home of his son, Ed Recker, with whom he had lived for several years.

He is survived by seven children: Mrs. Lawrence Michaeis of New Auburn, Wisconsin; George of Portland, Oregon; Ed of Alton; Mrs. H.O. Kruse of Fresno, California; Alfred of Paullina; Mrs. Glen Hardman and Mrs. Ed O’Drane of Portland, Oregon; and by two sisters, Mrs. Alvis Otterlee and Mrs. Mary Heinz of Long Beach, California; also by 19 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth (Pranger) Recker and a son, Bernard.

The body will be at the Ed Recker home Thursday afternoon. Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 9:00 o’clock from St. Mary’s Church. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery
