Funeral services were held at the Associated Church in Hawarden at 1:30 p.m. Monday for Amy Jo Whittington, 2 1/2 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Whittington, who drowned April 10 in a drainage ditch near her home in Hawarden. Services were conducted by the Reverend Herbert Young and burial was made in Grace Hill Cemetery at Hawarden.

Amy Jo was born at Hawarden September 27, 1966. She is survived by her parents; four brothers, Dennis, Dean, David, and Drew, all at home; her paternal grandfather, Harley Whittington of Hawarden, her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Vande Hoef of Hawarden.
