MRS. H. TER WEE CALLED BY DEATH

Mrs. Henry Ter Wee passed away last Sunday morning[August 3], at ten o’clock. Mrs. Ter Wee underwent an operation a couple of weeks ago and for a time she recuperated a bit, but Sunday the final summons came.

Mrs. Ter Wee was born in Holland in 1876 and in 1908 she was married to Mr. Ter Wee. They came to America some twenty years ago and resided around Rock Valley for a number of years. Ten years ago they moved to Chicago, and two years ago they returned to Rock Valley and moved onto the place just west of town.

Surviving are her husband and one son Harry, who have the sincere sympathy of their many friends.

Funeral services were held at the Old Dutch Reformed church Tuesday and interment was made in the Valley View cemetery.

Mrs. Henry Te Wee [Ter Wee] passed away at ten o’clock Sunday morning Aug. 3, 1930. Mrs. Ter Wee underwent a serious operation from which she was nicely recuperating but was suddenly taken severely ill during the night when the Angel of Death called her to eternal rest.

Mrs. Ter Wee had attained the age of 54 years, being born in Holland in 1876. In 1908 she was united in marriage to Henry Ter Wee. 20 years ago Mr. and Mrs. Ter Wee came to America where they resided for ten years when they moved to Chicago and two years ago they returned to Rock Valley and moved onto a place just west of town. She leaves to mourn her husband and one son Harry, who have the sincere sympathy of many friends and neighbors.

The subject of this sketch was a woman with a fine Christian character and in spite of her intense suffering was patient and kind to those having to care for her.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Old Reformed church and the body was laid to rest in Valley View cemetery.

No death certificate for her was found on Ancestry.com.
