Ellen Pottebaum Gannon died August 9, at Flandreau, South Dakota at the age of 30.

Born September 12, 1939, Mrs. Gannon was reared in this area. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Pottebaum.

Funeral services for Mrs. Gannon were August 12 at St. Simon and Jude Catholic Church in Flandreau, South Dakota. The Rt. Reverend Msgr. Felix Mc Cabe officiated at the 10 A.M. service.

Surviving Mrs. Gannon are her widower, James K. Gannon; two small daughters, Monica and Patty; her mother, Mrs. Henry Dorothy of Sioux Falls; a brother, Major James Pottebaum stationed in Altus, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mary, Mrs. Michael Sorensen of St. Paul, Minnesota and Jean, Mrs. Mark McGlone of Sioux Falls.

She was preceded in death by her father Henry Pottebaum and an infant sister.
