Sad Death at Maurice.
The sudden death of Harry Guy Orton eight year old son of Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Orton was a great shock to friends of the lad an his family. He was in his usual health on Sunday and attended church and Sunday school. In the evening he was playing and romping as usual and begged to stay up longer when bed time came. He became sick in the night, complained of feeling tired in the morning and slept until about noon, when he became delirious. He never regained consciousness and passed away about eight o’clock.

Harry Guy Orton was born near Maurice a few months over eight years ago. He had an exceptionally happy disposition and will be sadly missed by his parents and friends. Funeral services were held at the home and in the American Reformed Church. Wednesday afternoon, with rev. J. C. Van Wyke officiating. Harry’s boy friends, Leslie Bowden, Wayne Smith, Harold Warntjes and Bernard Vande Brake were pall bearers. Burial Took place in the Ireton cemetery.
