Last Rites Held For Mrs. Gerrit Oostenink

Funeral services for Mrs. Gerrit Oostenink, 75, of Hull were held Saturday, October 2, 10:00 a.m. in the Hope Christian Reformed Church of Hull with the Reverend Allen Dykstra. Burial was in Hope Cemetery under the direction of Kraai Funeral Home.

Mrs. Oostenink died Thursday, September 30, in the Sheldon hospital.

Hattie Rikkers, the daughter of Hendrik and Geertje (Juffer) Rikkers was born on March 13, 1896 in Rock Valley. She married Gerrit Oostenink on July 25, 1919 and always lived in Hull.

Survivors are her widower; four daughters, Mrs. Andy Geels of Sheldon, Garneth and Lorraine Oostenink of Sioux City and Mrs. Wally Bouma of Edgerton, Minnesota; a son, Dr. William of Hamilton, New York; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
