Funeral services for Harold Oolman, 51, were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the First Reformed Church with the Reverends Raymond Van Heukelom and Robert Bast officiating.

Burial was made in the West Lawn Cemetery under the direction of the Van Etten Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Clarence Kiel, Gerrit De Zeeuw, Harold Vander Keift, John Van Roekel, Tony Cleveringa and Gerrit Leusink.

Mr. Oolman passed away early Saturday at the Municipal Hospital following a long illness. The family farmed about four miles west of town.

He was born January 1, 1915 on a farm west of Orange City and a son of Jacob and Marie (Reekers) Oolman. December 29, 1938 he married Eunice Muilenburg. Three children were born to this union.

Survivors include the widow and three children, Mrs. George (Marla) Vande Kamp of Orange City, Helen and Harlan, both at home; two grandchildren, the father, Jacob Oolman of Orange City; a brother, Myron of Orange City; two sisters, Mrs. Henry G. (Charlotte) Huitink of Alton and Mrs. Edward J. (Marjorie) Reinders of Orange City.

He was preceded in death by his mother in May of 1965.
