Mrs. Henry Peter Oggel died at her home on Wednesday morning, April 4.

The deceased had suffered for 8 months. She had reached the age of nearly 82 years.

Mrs. Hendrika Z. (Van Bruggen) was born in the Netherlands on the 1st of May, 1846. Came to America in 1868 and was united in marriage to Dr. Henry P. Oggel on February 1, 1869.

To this union 6 children were born: Mrs. D. B. Ashenfelter of Boone, Iowa. Mrs. R. J. Beatty, Sioux City. L.T. Oggel, Mountain Lake, Minnesota, J B. Oggel and Minnie and Adriana Oggel, Orange City.

In the year 1886 the family moved from Pella to Orange City.

The funeral services were held on Friday afternoon at 2:30 from the home and at three o'clock from the American Reformed Church of which she was a faithful member, Reverend J.D. Dykstra officiating.
