Funeral services were held Monday, January 11, at the Trinity Reformed Church, Orange City, for Mrs. John L. Mouw, 63, who died early Thursday morning in Phoenix, Arizona, while visiting her daughter's family, the Gary Lyftogts, there.

The Reverend Donald Lenderink officiated. Burial was in Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Van Etten Funeral Home.

Mrs. Mouw, nee Florence De Haan, was born October 2, 1907 at Orange City, the daughter of A. Bert and Harmina Oolman De Haan. She attended Northwestern Academy and taught rural schools in Capel Township. She married John L. Mouw March 1, 1927.
