The Sioux County Cemetery Index lists Frank Zeeman, b. 13 Mar 1893, d 31 Dec 1929, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Rock Valley, IA.

Articles in area newspapers in August 1910 suggest that he may have been at Cherokee off and on since that time, when he was brought before the county insanity commissioners and adjudged insane after having assaulted his brother John with a knife. He had in the past been treated by Rock Valley physicians for a nervous disorder. His brother Jake had been an inmate at the Cherokee asylum for six years.
