Mrs. Leonard Moret, nee Mary Baartman was born at South Holland, Illinois August 23, 1880. She passed away July 14, 1950 at the St. Vincent's Hospital at Sioux City after an illness of about five weeks. She attained the age of 69 years, 10 months, and 21 days. She was married to Leonard Moret November 7, 1902 at Middleburg, Iowa.

Mrs. Moret is survived by her husband, Leonard, two daughters Mrs. Elisabeth Rens of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Corena, Mrs, Uittenbogaard of Boyden; four sons, William, Peter, Henry and Marion, all of Boyden; two brothers, Peter Baartman of Boyden and Arie Baartman of Middleburg and one sister, Mrs. Joe Van Oort of Middleburg.

Two daughters, three sisters and three brothers preceded her in death.
