At the age of 74 years and 3 days, Peter H. Haarsma died Saturday 17 Dec 1921. He was born in Herbayem Friesland 19 Dec 1847 and in May of 1873 he married Dirkje Bouma.This in 1893 they came to America. The children were – Hendren, Mrs. Peter Jeltema of Maurice; Mrs. Klaas De Groot and Mrs. J. De Groot of here; Mrs. Harry Heemstra of Monroe SD, and Dirk of Maurice. Feb 5 1919 he was married to Mrs E. Westra. Funeral was in the 1st Chr Ref Church with Dr. R. L. Haan. All the children and grandchildren were at the funeral.
