Miss Jennie Haas, 75, dies Feb. 14
Funeral services for Miss Jennie Haas, 75, who died Tuesday Feb. 14, after a heart attack at her home north west of Rock Valley were at 9 a.m. Thursday, .Feb. 16, at St. Mary's Catholic church. Rev Edward Hoffman officiated. Burial was in St Mary's cemetery, under the direction of the Vander Ploeg funeral home. Miss Haas was born April 8 1885, at Marcus, Survivors include a sister Mrs. Vincent Smith of Alvord, and four brothers, John of Iowa Falls. Fred of Omaha, Joseph and Jerome, both, of Inwood. Pallbearers were Michael Cullinan, Claire Barry, Clarence Keegan, Joe Hevern, Martin Cullinan and Paul Heffernan
