Died 14 Feb 1920 in the house of Mr. and Mrs. Sam DeJong at Remsen, father P. P. Haarsma at the age of 76 years. Signed - name of the children Ireton IA.

At the home of his children Mr. and Mts. Sam De Jong of Remsen the elderly P. P. Haarsma died. Monday he was buried, services led by Dr. Haan. He came here in 1885 from Friesland Netherlands. Children – R. Haarsma of Franklin Mass; Mrs. G. Wood Wheaton MN, P. Haarsma Ireton, Mrs. Geo. Brandsma Doon, Mrs. Sam De Jong Remsen; Mrs. W. Faber Bigelow MN ; and Mrs. P. Menage Doon. All have our sympathy.
