Mrs. John Heinrich Schuett, nee Pauline Moessner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Moessner, was born July 5, 1880, in Heilbronn, Wuertemberg, Germany. In early infancy she was baptized in the Lutheran Faith.

At the age of about 10 years she came to this country with her parents, who settled here in Sioux County in the year 1894 at Doon, Iowa, she was confirmed in the Lutheran Faith.

On March 20, 1904, she was given in marriage to Mr. John H. Schuett. To this union six children were born.

Mrs. Schuett was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and a brother, and also mourned the death of one daughter, Marie (Mrs. John Vande Berg). One grandson, Donald Olivier also preceded her in death.

Early in the spring she fell victim to an incurable disease and suffered extreme pain and anguish until released by death on Sunday June 16th, having attained the age of 65 years, 11 months and 11 days.

Those who mourn her passing are her husband, her remaining children: Mrs. Minnie Olivier, William, Ernest, Lillian and Paul; her two sisters: her twin sister, Mary Gust and Mrs. Minnie Pusch; three grandchildren, Carol and Keith Olivier and Paula Vande Berg; besides many other relatives and friends.
