Lawrence Langenhorst, 75, of Sheldon, died Thursday in the Sheldon Hospital of a lingering illness.

Funeral services were Monday at 10:30 A.M. in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. The Reverend Thomas Donahue officiated with burial in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery.

Mr. Langenhorst was born April 24, 1906 in Hospers. He married Alverna Feller June 14, 1938 in Le Mars. He was a bookkeeper for Verschoor Motor Company for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Alverna; one sister, Mrs. Peter (Olivia) Niichel of Granville and one brother, Harold of Larchwood.

Mrs. Agnes Thorman, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Niichel, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Howard, Mrs. Caroline Horkey, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Schnurr, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Horkey and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Horkey attended the funeral of Mr. Langenhorst in Sheldon Monday.
