LAST RITED FOR ANTHONY MICHAEL LANGENHORST HELD GRANVILLE TUESDAY

Funeral services were held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Granville, Tuesday morning at 10:00 o’clock for Anthony Langenhorst, 45, who passed away Saturday evening at 9:30, Sacred Heart Hospital, Le Mars, of pneumonia. Reverend N.J. Becker officiated at the Requiem Mass.

Mr. Langenhorst was born July 16, 1917 at Hospers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Felix and Rose (Hodapp) Langenhorst. When a child moved with his parents on a farm south of Granville where he since resided. His father passed away in 1934 and his mother passed away June 25 this year.

Surviving are three sisters, (Marie) Mrs. Robert Schnepf of Oyens, (Marion) Mrs. John Wernke of Alliance, Nebraska, (Irene) Mrs. Sylvester Hauser of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota and 12 nieces and nephews.

Rosary was held Monday evening at Spalding Hall.
