Again has death visited the home of one of our citizens, this time taking Miss Metta Auguste Elise “Lizzie” Lutjens, the 15 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Johann Lutjens. Lizzie passed away Saturday with typhoid fever and pneumonia and the funeral services were held in the German Church, north of town, Tuesday afternoon conducted by Reverend Baetke. The remains were laid away in the Church Cemetery.
