Henry Kosters dies at Doon
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Christian Reformed church in Doon for Henry Kosters, 72, a lifetime rural Doon resident. Mr. Kosters died at his home Saturday after a long illness.
Survivors include the widow; two sons, Harold of Doon, and John of Sioux Falls; three daughters, Mrs. Maynard Van Tol of Sanborn, Mrs. Delbert Faber of Sioux Center, and Mrs. Ray Diekevers of Hospers; a sister, Mrs. Henry Van Engen of Doon; a half-brother, E. J. Kosters of Sioux Center; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Mr. Kosters was born January 19, 1892, at Sioux Center. In 1912 he married Nellie Van Engen at Doon. Services were at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev John Elenbaas officiating. Burial was in the Doon cemetery,
