Death of Mrs. Schmeiser

Mrs. George Schmeiser, mother of Mrs. Glenn Green, of Rock Valley, died Monday at the home of her daughter, following a lingering illness of several months. The deceased’s home was at Sanborn, Iowa, but she came here several weeks ago in order that her daughter might care for her during her illness.

Mrs. Schmeiser was born in Norway fifty-two years ago. She came to this country when a young girl. She lived in Minnesota for several years, later going to Sanborn. She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Green, of Rock Valley, and her husband at Sanborn. The remains were taken to Sanborn for funeral services and burial.

Her death certificate has Anna Schmeiser, wife of George Schmeiser, resident of Sanborn, died at Rock Valley; born July 4, 1876 in Norway; father’s surname Thompson; died at 7:15 a.m. March 19, 1928, of pernicious anemia; buried at Sanborn.
