Ommo J. Lubsen, of Alton, came to LeMars on Saturday. He was brought here on a stretcher as he has been suffering for the past five months with sciatic rheumatism.

While employed by the Omaha railroad he contracted the malady in consequence of exposure to cold and wet.

He said in conversation that he had suffered martyrdom and tried every remedy he knew or could hear of and had employed many doctors.

He has taken rooms at the Mickley house in order to undergo osteopathic treatment by Dr. Ray."

Mr. Lubsen was taken to LeMars by his brother Pete Lubsen, S.L. Braskamp and John De Raad — the last named gentleman remaining with him there.
