Mr. and Mrs. Martin Kuiken attended funeral services held Friday afternoon at the Reformed Church of Matlock for a relative, Joan Holtrop, R.N., who passed away at the age of 37 following a brief illness.

Note: According to the 1940 census Joan Holtrop was the daughter of John and Sophia Holtrop living in Franklin O’Brien Co. at the time. See the obit of her mother Mrs. Sophie John Holtrop 1915-1992. In the obit of her father John Holtrop 1913-1999 there is mention of a daughter Joan preceding him in death.
