Henry Minneart, a former well-known resident of Rock Valley vicinity, died at his home in Madison, S.D., last week Thursday. Funeral services were held at Madison, Saturday morning. The Minneart family moved away from Rock Valley several years ago, but have been back to visit several times since, and Mr. Minneart is well remembered here. He is the father of Mrs. Philip Wyffels living near Rock Valley, and also of Mrs. E. H. Richter of Madison, S.D.

Tumor Is Fatal To Lake County Farmer

Madison, S.D., Nov. 15.—Henry Minneart, a prominent farmer of the Herman township community, died at his home Saturday morning, as the result of a tumor which had been troubling him for about two months although the condition was not considered critical until the last few days.

Mr. Minneart was a native of Belgium, born in 1859 and coming to this country in 1906. He located first at Rock Valley, Ia., but later moved to Lake county, South Dakota. He is survived by his widow and four sons and five daughters and 28 grandchildren. The sons, Octave, Jerome, Ray and Achille all live in Lake county, one daughter, Mrs. Philip Wyssels, lives in Rock Rapids, the others, Mesdames Van Hove, James Fitzpatrick, Ed Richter and Alvin Johnson, are all living in Lake county.
