Mr. Klaas Langstraat passed away Tuesday night in the Hull hospital as a result of hemmorages of the stomach ulcers. He had been in good health, except for being on a careful diet, until recently. Last week he became ill and Monday at midnight was rushed to the hospital. The funeral will be held Friday, 1 o'clock at home and 1:30 at the First Christian Reformed Church, Reverend J.M. Dykstra officiating.

Mr Langstraat was 70 years last September. He was born in Hoogvliet, Netherlands. He married Trintje Struik in 1890 and they moved to this country 36 years ago. They lived on a farm near Carmel and Rock Valley before retiring to Sioux Center.

Surviving him are Mrs. Langstraat, his sons Henry and Edward of Carmel, Mrs. Gerrit Draayer of Maurice, Mrs. Peter Cuperus of Hull and Cy, and twenty grandchildren.

Arrived in New York July 1, 1901 sailing from Rotterdam, Netherlands on ship Statendam.
