William Langstraat, 58, Orange City, Iowa, died March 6 at his farm home of an apparent heart attack. The funeral was at 1:30 p.m. March 8 at the Grace Reformed Church at Middleburg. The Reverend John Ekema officiated. Burial was in the Middleburg Cemetery under direction of the Van Ellen Funeral Home of Orange City.

Mr. Langstraat was born October 15, 1914 at Newkirk. He married Alberta Slothouber on June 14, 1941 at Orange City. They farmed in the Hospers and Orange City areas.

Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Miss Ruth Langstraat of Iowa City; sons, Wayne of White Bear Lake, Minnesota, Dennis of Big Springs, Texas, and Roger of Orange City; four grandchildren; brothers, Dick and Peter, both of Orange City, Howard and John, both of Sibley, and Cornie of Lynden, Washington; sisters, Mrs. Eugene (Jennie) Vander Brake of Maurice, and Mrs. Peter (Angelina) Torrenga of Delavan, Wisconsin.
