RITES FRIDAY FOR MRS. FELIX LANGENHORST

Funeral services were held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Friday morning at 10:00 o’clock for Mrs. Felix Langenhorst, 69, who passed away Tuesday morning at the Sacred Heart Hospital, Le Mars. Reverend N.J. Becker officiated.

Rose Hodapp was born July 24, 1893 at Sutherland, later moved with her parents, Michael and Maria S. (Berger) Hodapp to farm near Hospers, then to Granville. She was married January 12, 1915 to Felix Langenhorst of Hospers at St. Joseph’s Church in Granville and resided on a farm until four years ago when she moved to Granville. Mr. Langenhorst passed away in November 1934.

She is survived by one son, Anthony of Granville, three daughters, (Marie) Mrs. Robert Schnepf of Oyens, (Marian) Mrs. John Werke of Alliance, Nebraska, (Irene) Mrs. Sylvester Hauser of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota; 12 grandchildren; one brother, William Hodapp of Las Vegas, Nevada; three sisters, (Martha) Mrs. George Brandel of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota, (Marie) Mrs. Charles Vogel of Burbank, California, (Clara), Mrs. Leo Croat of Granville. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Paul Arnes, Ed Penning, Bob Schwarz, John Thelen, Doug Kuiper, Vernon Schiliz.

Relatives from a distance: Mr. and Mrs. William Hodapp of Las Vegas, Nevada, Mr. and Mrs. George Brandel of Sleepy eye, Minnesota, Mr. and Mrs. John Wernke and family of Alliance, Nebraska, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Schnepf and family of Oyens, Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Hauser of Sleepy Eye, Minnesota.
