Funeral services were held for Arnold Kwikkel at the First Methodist Church in Sheldon on Monday, May 4. He suffered a slight injury to his head about a week before he suddenly took ill with the resultant cancerous tumor.

He died at the age of 28 years and leaves his wife, Katherine (Blank) Kewikkel, two sons, Arnold Lee and Kenneth Ralph, a father and a step-mother, a brother, William Kwikkel of Boyden, and two sisters, Mrs. Nic Rouwenhorst of Boyden and Mrs. Dave Vander Pol of Boyden.

Hus death shocked the entire community. Always of bright, sunny disposition, his death is deeply regretted by all who knew him.
