Funeral services today for Mrs. Martin Korver

Mrs. Martin Korver, 86, passed away Monday at the Municipal hospital where she had been a patient for three years and seven months.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p,m. today (Thursday) at the First Reformed Church, Reverend Raymond Van Heukelom and Reverend Robert Bast will officiate. Burial will be in the Orange City Cemetery.

Mrs. Korver, nee Jennie "Janneke" Mouw, was born March 21, 1878 to Hendrikus and Willemina (Rouwenhorst) Mouw at Orange City, Iowa.

She married Martin Korver on March 8, 1900, who died in 1954. They farmed near Alton until 1942 when they moved to Orange City.

Survivors include six children, William of Sioux Center; Henry of Alton; Martina, (Mrs. Anthony Muilenburg); Myna (Mrs. Gillis Haverdink), both of Orange City; Myron of Alton, Simon of Nocksack, Washington; 34 grandchildren; 69 great-
grandchildren; one brother, Otto Mouw of Orange City.

Mrs. Korver was preceded in death by her husband, one child in infancy; and two sons, John and Arthur, also one brother; six sisters and one grandchild.
