Marion Korver, 72, of Orange City died Monday at his residence.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the American Reformed Church in Orange City. The Reverend Marlin Vander Wilt officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery. Visitation was from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Van Etten-Oolman Funeral Home.

Mr. Korver was born October 11, 1912, near Alton. He married Helen Vellinga January 25, 1940, at Orange City. He operated a cement works and a grinder and sheller until 1957 when he became a truck driver for the Vogel Paint Company in Orange City. He retired in 1981. Mr. Korver was a member of the American Reformed Church.

Survivors include one son, Douglas of Mason City; three daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Audrey) Scholten of Le Mars, Mrs. William (Norma) Tordoff of Worthington, Ohio and Mrs. Kenneth (Linda) Schumacher of Perry; two brothers, John of Orange City and James of Alton; three sisters, Mrs. Bernie (Martina) Muilenberg and Mrs. Peter (Minnie) Muilenberg, both of Sibley and Mrs. Arie (Artha) Bomgaars of Le Mars and 10 grandchildren.
