Died: February 23, 1955Word was received here Wednesday morning of the death of Mrs. John Koopman, 74, of Colton, South Dakota, who passed away early Wednesday morning after a lingering Illness.
Mrs. Jane (Van De Brake) Koopman was an early settler in Sioux Center. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 28 at 11 o'clock at the Colton Christian Reformed Church with Reverend D. Bergsma officiating and brief services will be held at four o'clock at the Coop Burial Home here with burial in the Sioux Center Community Cemetery.
