Richard John Kooiker, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Kooiker, of Murdo, South Dakota, was born June 2nd, 1927, and died September 10th, at 12:15 P.M. after a short illness of only two weeks, death being due to summer flu.

The remains were brought to Hull and the funeral was held September 12th from the home of the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Kooiker, Reverend J.D. Dykstra, of Orange City.
