Hellinga, Mary died 23 Aug 1887 age 45 yrs 6 mo. 26 days, buried in West Lawn Cemetery Orange City IA, as listed in the Sioux County IA cemetery index.

Gisteren is na een kortstondig maar hevig lijden de gade van Mr A. Hellinga overleden, Morgen om een juur zal do begrafenis, van uit het sterfiuis, plaste hebben.

A. Hellinga, of Orange city, died suddenly last week from la grippe.

Note: Found that her husband was Anne “Andrew” Hellinga living in Sioux County Orange City in 1885, born 1845 in the Netherlands, wife was Marie Boerma age 43 born Netherlands, children Dina 12, Jurian 8, Louis 4. In the 1870 census for Marion Co. IA, Anne was the son of Juyer (Jurian?) Hellinga 56 and Wrigtsdende? Hellinga 53. In the 1925 IA census the son Louis and Jerry were mentioned as sons of Andrew Hellinga and Marie Boersma. She was possibly born Mynke Boersma or Minke Boersma married May 7, 1879 Knoxville Marion Co. IA.
