Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 1, 1969 from the American Reformed Church of Hull for Albert Caswell. Mr. Caswell passed away at the Veterans Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota the night of October 25. The Reverend Paul Vander Woude officiated at the services. Pallbearers were Wallace Caswell, George Caswell, Darwin Caswell, David Koerselman, Walter Goeringer, and Otto Goeringer. Interment took place at the Hospers Cemetery in Hull.

Mr. Caswell was born March 25, 1906 at Aurora, South Dakota, (son of Mr. and Mrs. George and Lucy Bakker Caswell). From there the family moved to Arapahoe, Colorado. At the age of three they moved to Hull and he spent the rest of his life in this community. He married Alida Koerselman, September 30, 1935 at Hull. During the World War II he served with the U.S. Army two and a half years, and spent nineteen months overseas. He did carpentry work until eight years ago, when he had his first surgery; since then, his health has been failing.

The deceased was a member of the American Reformed Church of Hull and the Wegman Koele Post of the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife and his daughter, Lyla, two brothers: William of Rock Rapids and George of Hull. Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers, Andrew and Herbert, and a sister, Maggie.
