Zwaggerman Infant son 1963-1963

An infant son born to his injured mother, died and five additional persons were injured in a two-car collision on highway 75 one mile south of Sioux Center about midnight Monday night.

The infant was born to Mrs. Dennis Zwaggerman, of Hospers about three and a half hours after the mishap and died 10 minutes later in the Sioux Center hospital.
Mrs. Zwaggerman was reported to be in fairly good condition. Mrs. Zwaggermanr was a passenger in car driven by Cornelius
Van Velzen 25, Sioux Center. His vehicle collided with one driven by Larry Kosters, about 19, Sioux Center. Kosters who was alone in his car, was reported uninjured as was Van Velzen. Five other passengers in the Van Velzen car were hurt including Dennis Zwaggerman, 18, the infant's father; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Zwaggerman, Hospers, his grandparents; his uncle Glen, 21, of Hospers and Mrs. Van Velzen, 25, who suffered a broken rib. She was treated in the Sioux Center
hospital and dismissed.

Peter, 50, Dennis and Glen Zwaggerman were taken to the Methodist hospital in Sioux City;
