Funeral services were held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church at Hospers Monday for Mrs. Mathilda Klein, 68, life-long resident of Hospers community, who died at the Sheldon Hospital December 26.

Services were conducted by Monsignor G. Theobald and burial was made in the Hospers Cemetery under the direction of Vander Ploeg’s Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Mrs. Klein was born at Hospers June 29, 1896, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Robinet. She was married to Peter Klein at Hospers January 27, 1921.

Survivors besides her husband include the following children: Frances (Mrs. Raymond Schnurr) of Sanborn, Esther (Mrs. Melvin Platte) of Granville, Gerald and Gerone of Hospers and Arnold and Rosella, at home.
