Quartzsite, Ariz., formerly Orange City, Iowa
Alvin Van Abbema, 81, of Quartzsite, formerly of Orange City, passed away on Nov. 13, 2017 in Phoenix, Ariz. from stroke related complications.

Abiding by his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
He is survived by his children, Sheila and Paul Janssen of Orange City, Rhonda and Terry Miller of Castle Rock, Colo., and Steve and Dana Van Abbema of North Liberty, Iowa; and their families that includes eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. He comes from a large Van Abbema family and has some really great friends at the RV park.

We will miss you Dad.
