Elmer Klein, who died in a hospital in Sioux City, Wednesday, October 27, 1920, after n operation for appendicitis was aged 10 years, 10 months and 29 days.

The funeral was held at the Klein home at Lakewood, Reverend F.O. Claussen, of the Rock Rapids Lutheran Church, south, conducting the services. Interment was in the cemetery near Hull.

The deceased lad is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Klein and two brothers and two sisters: Alvira, Helen, Wilbur and Glen. He was the second oldest child. He was a fine boy, bright, cheerful and obedient and well liked by all who knew him. The family has the profound sympathy of the community.
